The cover is off the pool, spring cleaning is underway– AND, we have great news to share! We have bundled Memberships, Party Rentals and Concessions all into one platform, making it even easier to enjoy all things GHP!

 

In addition to the Membership Perks outlined below, NEW perks this Season include:

 
  • A Garden Hills Pool mobile app for easier access on the go! Click the type of phone you have to access instructions: Android or iPhone
  • A single shopping cart for memberships, guest passes, volunteering, Members Only party sign-ups, and more
  • A streamlined check-in process with QR code. Those who prefer to use their key tag can continue to use them, they carry over now from summer-to-summer. Your QR code will be the same number as your key tag.
  • Saved payment methods for quick and easy purchases! Parents, if you choose to save a card on your account for ease of purchasing concessions, please discuss limits with your children! GHPPA will not be responsible for your youngster’s spending habits!
 

2025 Members

 

If you were a GHP Member in 2025, your account was imported into the new platform. You will receive an activation letter from Garden Hills Pool in your inbox before sales open on Thursday. You’ll activate your 2026 account by creating a new password and verifying that all of your info is up-to-date. Then, all you have to do at 9:00 p.m. is log in and purchase your membership!

Simply click the Membership link below any time after the link opens at 9:00 PM on March 19th. You’ll set up an account–It is a quick and easy process! Then, you’ll log back in to purchase your membership. Please read the GENERAL MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION below about setting up your account and choosing the right membership level for you and your family.

 

NITTY-GRITTY PURCHASING NOTE…
Whether you are a returning or new Member, you’ll need to sign the waivers where indicated during the process before you can purchase your Membership. After entering your credit card information, you’ll click Apply to push the purchase through.

 

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

 

Garden Hills Pool will open to GHP Members on Friday, May 8, 2026 @ 4:30 PM.

The pool will open to the Public on Saturday, May 23, 2026 @ 10:00 AM. 

 

Membership Perks Include:

 
  • The pool opens two weekends prior to Memorial Day for Members
  • The pool closes two weekends after Labor Day for Members
  • Free Daily Admission to the Garden Hills Pool
  • Extended Members-Only Hours starting at 5 pm nightly
  • Access to special events including:  Movie & Trivia Nights, Adult, Family & Youth Parties

Memberships allow up to the designated number of individuals in the category to be listed for pool access.  When determining the appropriate membership level to cover all participants in a household, all persons over the age of 2 by May 1, 2026 are to be included in the count. 

 

Participants on a single account must be the Primary Account Holder, their partner/spouse, and their direct descendant(s) living at the same residence. 

 

A pool membership is non-transferrable.  Members may bring guests for $5/person (for persons over the age of 2) during Members Only Hours, and must be present with their guests during Members Only Hours.  This means that your exchange student, vacation guests, dog walker, tutor, etc., may not visit the pool without you, or without a family member who is listed on your account, during Members Only Hours. These persons may visit the pool without your presence during Free Swim Hours or Paid Admission Hours, as a member of the general public.

 

In addition, a current member who sells their house may not transfer their membership to the new owners. 

 

LAST YEAR’S KEY TAG NUMBER STILL VALID
2025 Members can continue to use last year’s key tag. New members can pick up a key tag on your first visit- the staff will link it to your account. You can also check in using your QR Code! For existing account holders, this QR Code matches your key tag.

 

PLEASE ADD YOUR OWN PHOTOS
Account photos from last season were not imported. Please upload a family picture and a picture for each of your family members. You can do this after you have purchased your 2026 Membership! Family members 13+ should have a photo on file by Opening Night for Members, which is Friday, May 8th. If you don’t have a quickly-accessible family photo, just upload a picture of the Account Holder (the person who purchases the account) in that spot.

 

A NANNY/CAREGIVER IS A SEPARATE ADD-ON
Only the account holder, their spouse/partner, and direct descendants (over the age of 2 as of May 1, 2026) living in the same household are to be included in the Membership count when selecting your Membership Level.

 

Purchasing the Nanny/Caregiver add-on ($50 for the season) is a smart decision if you have one dedicated caregiver who will accompany your child/children often over the course of the summer. Their name will be associated with your account, so check-in will be easy. They’ll bring your family’s key tag with them for check-in.

 

On the other hand, if you have several baby-sitters, or will only occasionally have a babysitter/grandparent/aunt/uncle bringing your child/children to the pool, you would be better-served to just send them with the $5 guest fee as the occasion arises.

 

USE A COMPUTER VERSUS A PHONE
The Pool Board volunteers have tested the new membership system and found it to be user-friendly and expedient! Several Board Members found that the phone worked fine, but if you have issues signing up when using your phone, switch to a computer.

 

DON’T PANIC!
When the link opens on Membership Sales Night: DO NOT PANIC. If you’ve been a member for years, you know (even though you can’t help yourself, and still panic, and might feel the urge to call a pool board friend you know to see if they have magical powers to predict, which, P.S. they don’t…) that memberships NEVER. EVER. EVER sell out on opening night. It takes weeks to sell out, not hours. So this is a no-stress situation, with a new platform that is easier to navigate than what you’ve experienced before.

You won’t receive them often, but emails from the membership system will be important, so click the box to accept!

GHP Everyday Summer Policies . . .

 
  • We will be actively collecting $5 per non-member per visit (for all persons over the age of 2) during Paid Admission hours at the Admissions Desk, as required by the City of Atlanta for all city pools.  This fee applies whether those who enter the pool area plan to swim or not.  All non-members are required to sign in on the clipboard and pay entry fees upon arrival.

 
  • We will be scanning all members’ key tags or QR codes. 2026 Members can continue to use last year’s key tag. New members can pick up a key tag on your first visit- the staff will link it to your account. Or you can simply check in using your QR Code! For existing account holders, this QR Code matches your key tag.
 
  • Outside swim lessons instructors are strictly prohibited.  Swim lessons are offered through the Cool Sharks Swim Team and can be scheduled with an authorized coach at coolsharks.swimtopia.com.  
 
  • Please be courteous to our young staff.  This is the first job for most of our youngest employees.  It is our goal to offer them a positive first-job experience in which they can succeed and gain self-confidence.  We want them to understand that a good employee must be accountable.  Please help them become accountable by allowing them to scan your key tag/QR code or collect your admissions fee before entering. 
 
  • You do not need to be a member to visit Garden Hills Pool!  Please click the Calendar & Entry Fees tab for our Free Admission and Paid Admission Hours. If you are using a smart phone to check the calendar, you may need to turn your phone sideways to see the live calendar. 
 
  • The pool switches over to Members Only Hours at 5:00 PM nightly unless otherwise listed on the daily calendar. 
 
  • Members may bring guests at any time! It is required that a GHP Member be present with their guest(s) during Paid Admissions and Members Only Hours, and pay the entry fee of $5/person for persons over the age of 2. During Free Swim Hours (Mondays-Fridays 10:00 am- 1:00 pm), non-member guests are considered members of the general public and do not need to be registered with a member.

 
  • Memberships are non-transferable; members may not allow house guests or those who may be renting their house to use their key tag without accompanying these guests at the pool.
 
  • MEMBER GUEST POLICY:  Garden Hills Pool Members may bring guests at any time! It is required that Members be present with their guest(s) during Paid Admission and Members Only hours, and pay the entry free for their guests, which is $5/person for people over age 2. During Free Swim Hours (Mondays-Fridays in June & July, 10:00 am- 1:00 pm), non-member guests are considered members of the general public and do not need to be registered with a member to enter.
 
  • MEMBER GUEST LIMITS: GHP Members may bring up to 10 people in a group without requiring a party rental, this group consisting of the GHP Member host, any family members listed on their membership account who are present, and any non-member guests, for a total of 10 individuals. Children under 2 do not need to be included in the headcount. For Members wanting to bring a group (as defined above) larger than 10, a party rental should be made. A rental serves two purposes; it allows for proper scheduling of lifeguards, and ensures the group a designated spot for celebrating important events!   • No party rentals may be made during Members Only Hours, which begin daily at 5:00 pm.
   
  • Please become familiar with our Pool Rules so that there are no misunderstandings, and everyone has a pleasant experience poolside!
