Fall Swim Meet will delay pool opening on Saturday, 9/7!

Please note that as of Labor Day, the pool is open for GHP Members only, on weekends only, through September 22nd. The End-of-Season Fall Swim Meet will take place on Saturday, September 7th from 9:00 AM-12:15 PM and will delay the opening of the pool that day until 12:15 PM. At the time of the delayed opening, the meet might still be taking place in the deep end. The diving board and lap lanes will open up as soon as the meet is concluded. We thank the membership for their patience as we conclude the swim team season! Take a bite outta the competition, Cool Sharks!

Pool Board Elections: August 30th-September 21st! 

It’s Pool Board Election time! Voting will take place August 30th-September 21st during hours of operation at the Garden Hills Pool. Ballots will be available at the Admissions Desk, and must be cast at the pool. Only current Garden Hills Pool members may vote; one vote per membership. Garden Hills Pool will be closed on Thursday, June 6th until 5:00 PM

We have been notified by the City of Atlanta that they will be installing some new safety lighting around the pool deck. We apologize for any inconvenience! We hope to re-open in time for Members Only Hours at 5:00 PM. If the re-opening will be delayed further, those who have subscribed to The Splash newsletter will receive updates. Guest Policy Reminder for Summer 2023

As a friendly reminder, Garden Hills Pool Memberships are non-transferrable. A membership may not be used by houseguests or family members not listed on the membership account unless an account member is accompanying the guest(s) to the pool. The guest fee for entry to the pool is $5/person for all guests over the age of 2, except during Free Swim Hours when the public can enjoy the pool free of charge (see Calendar & Entry Fees for the daily schedule). Thank you for understanding!

Clean Up Day:
March 25th, TIME CHANGE: 11am-1pm

Due to the high likelihood of rain on Saturday, we have shifted our clean-up day by 2 hours. Come lend a hand to help clean up our surroundings and get us organized! Please bring your own gloves and tools. We’ll provide Chick-Fil-A biscuits to all who RSVP here. Community Service Hours will be certified!

Labor Day @ GHP!

Enjoy Summer’s Last Hurrah with us at Garden Hills Pool! On Monday, Sept. 4th, we are open for Members & their guests: 10am-8pm, Public-Paid Admission Only:
10am-5pm.

After Labor Day, the pool will be open for MEMBERS & THEIR GUESTS ONLY, on weekends only (Fridays-Sundays) through September 17th. 

As a reminder, Garden Hills Pool members may bring guests at any time, for $5/per person for people over 2 years old. This City-mandated entry fee applies to all guests who enter the facility whether they intend to swim or not. Memberships are non-transferrable; member guests must be accompanied by a member for entry.

FREE Water Polo Clinic- Saturday, July 23rd: 8-10am 

The clinic is open to rising 6th – rising 12th graders, boys and girls, no experience necessary! Come learn how to play water polo with real players and coaches. The APS Knights are a club team, open to any middle or high school student living within the Atlanta Public Schools district, even if you attend a private school. Most Knights players start with no experience – all you need to join is the ability to swim freestyle and tread water. They have different level teams for different ages and ability levels. GHP will close at 2 PM for a Home Swim Meet on June 26th

The Cool Sharks go head-to-head with Gainsborough on June 26th. The pool will close at 2PM for set-up. Please plan your pool visit that day accordingly! GO, COOL SHARKS!

Garden Hills Pool opens to the public on Memorial Day: Monday, May 27th

It’s happening at pools everywhere- this summer, everyone is short on lifeguards. Pool visitors may find that the deep end and diving board are closed on occasion if only one guard is available. Safety is our top priority! If these features of the pool are important to you, before you drop in, please feel free to call to check status during our operating hours, at 404-848-7220.

GHP Members Only Youth Party: Saturday, July 27th from 7-10pm

GHP Members 12-15 years old are invited to bring guests and enjoy having the pool to themselves! The pool will close at 6:15 pm for set-up. Pizza, soft drinks, chips and snowcones will be served, and there will be volleyball, cornhole, music & more! Admission for GHP Members is FREE. Member Guests are $10 per person, payable when you register online. Member must be present with their guests upon arrival for entry. Adult Swim Team Home Meet: GHP Closing 7/21 @ 6:00pm

The 2022 ASA Adult League Champions (that’s US!) are hosting an adult league swim meet on Friday, July 21st. We will close to the public at 6:00pm (whistle blown at 5:45pm to clear the pool) to help us maintain a safe capacity level. Thank you for understanding! GO, COOL SHARKS!

Careful- Cool Sharks & Pups are in the water!

Please see the Calendar & Entry Fees page for the daily swim, dive and shark pups practice schedules! It may be necessary to turn your phone sideways to view the daily calendar. Note: Non-member swim team families must drop off their swimmers and remain outside the gate during Members Only Hours. Pick-up is at the back field gate, as per usual.  Shark Pups parents may enter the facility but must remain at the shallow end tables. Thank you for your cooperation!
